Note:  If there is a panel session topic that you would like to explore that is not indicated above, please e-mail SES at

sounny@ses-online.org with your suggestions for consideration.

Each selected abstract/proposal will be assigned a 3-digit number that must be used in all future communications.  Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit a research or short paper by August 31, 2010 for presentation at the 33rd Annual Conference of the Society for Educators and Scholars, scheduled for October 7-9, 2010 , San Antonio, Texas.

Please Note:
  1. Research Papers must be complete papers (5000 words maximum) with complete reference section.
  2. Short Papers could be composed of research in progress, abstracts and ideas you would like to explore with the audience at the Conference (1000 words maximum).

All submitted papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity and scholarly contribution.  It is the policy of SES to send complete papers to two peer reviewers for full blind review and to send a summary of review feedback to the author(s).  Peer reviewer and/or the editors may review short papers/abstracts.  To be included in the conference proceeding, all review comments and suggestions must be addressed in the final submission due on or before September 14, 2010 and submitted via email in MS Word format.

Please Note:  Submitted papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere.

Proceedings:  All papers accepted for the conference will be published in the proceedings (if at least one authored is registered to present the paper).  Proceedings will be distributed to all registered conference attendees during the conference.  In addition, papers may be submitted for consideration to the Society's referenced journal, Scholar and Educator, for publication at a later date.  Details on this process will be discussed at the conference.
