Educators and Scholars was developed by leaders in the  humanities, administration, business, community affairs, education and the social sciences who believed that in a rapidly changing world all knowledge is integrated and that opportunities must provided to publish and exchange ideas and information from all fields.

The Society of Educators and Scholars prefers a modest size in order to offer each member maximum visibility, a voice in the functioning of the Society, and meaningful personal participation in conferences, publications and activities. Its interdisciplinary approach encourages contributions from all areas of the human endeavor while preserving the integrity of each of the various fields. The Society truly promotes the cross-fertilization of knowledge, ideas and viewpoints.
